Description
A professionally graded and encapsulated copy of DC Special #5, published by D.C. Comics in October-December 1969. This issue, subtitled “The Daring and The Different,” is a Joe Kubert tribute issue, featuring Joe Kubert cover and art. The vibrant cover depicts an artist, presumably Kubert, surrounded by various DC characters such as Superman, The Flash, Hawkman, Batman, Robin, Sgt. Rock, and Plastic Man, under the prominent title “The Secret Lives of Joe Kubert.” The comic bears a 25-cent price and the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” seal. It is graded 7.5 by CGC as “Universal Grade” with “OFF-WHITE TO WHITE Pages,” CGC certification number 4550719017.
