Description
A Silver Age American comic book, ‘Mystery in Space #87’ from D.C. Comics, dated November 1963. Presented in a rigid, transparent CGC Universal Grade slab, certified at a grade of 4.0 with ‘CREAM TO OFF-WHITE Pages’. The cover features artwork by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson, prominently displaying Hawkman, Adam Strange, and another figure. Text on the cover notes ‘MYSTERY IN SPACE’, a 12¢ price, ‘AN ADAM STRANGE THRILLER!’, and ‘BEGINNING A NEW SERIES OF HIGH-FLYING ADVENTURES WITH HAWKMAN! ‘The AMAZING THEFTS of the I.Q. GANG!”. The ‘Approved by the Comics Code Authority’ seal is also visible. The CGC label indicates the beginning of an Adam Strange/Hawkman double feature, pre-dating Hawkman #1, with Adam Strange appearing in the Hawkman story.
