This listing features a slabbed pulp magazine, “Argosy #1336 (V283 #2),” dated July 16, 1938. The cover, attributed to Emmett Watson, depicts a menacing figure in Asian-inspired armor holding a miniature airplane, set against a backdrop of battleships and additional aircraft. The cover prominently features the headlines “The INVASION of AMERICA” and “AMERICA AT BAY IN A WORLD GONE MAD.” Originally priced at 10 cents, the magazine was published weekly by “RED STAR MAGAZINE.” The item has been professionally graded by CGC as 3.0 with OFF-WHITE Pages and is securely encapsulated within a clear, protective plastic slab.
