Description
A professionally graded Silver Age comic book, “Brave and the Bold #69,” published by D.C. Comics (National Comics). This issue, with a cover date of January, No. 69, was originally priced at 12¢ and dated 12/66-1/67. It is encapsulated in a CGC Universal Grade slab, certified at 7.0 with Off-White to White Pages. The vibrant cover, attributed to Carmine Infantino and Joe Giella, depicts Green Lantern battling an alien creature while Batman is shown trapped within an “Iron Bat,” accompanied by the prominent text: “BATMAN’S TRAPPED IN AN IRON BAT! YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN, G.L.!” The slab also credits Bob Haney for the story and Win Mortimer for the interior art. The cover displays the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” stamp.
