Description
Marvel Comics Daredevil #77, published June 1971. This comic is professionally graded and encapsulated by CGC (Comics Guaranty Company) with a Universal Grade of 5.0 and noted as having “OFF-WHITE TO WHITE Pages”. The cover, by Sal Buscema, features Spider-Man mid-air, striking the Sub-Mariner, who stands over a supine Daredevil against a city bridge backdrop. Visible text includes “DAREDEVIL THE MAN WITHOUT FEAR!”, “GUEST-STARRING: THE SUB-MARINER AND YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR-HOOD SPIDER-MAN!”, and “A THREE-IN-ONE TRIUMPH FOR MAGNIFICENT MARVEL!”. Two speech bubbles are present: one from Spider-Man stating “THANKS FOR CREAMING OL’ HORNHEAD FOR ME, NAMOR!” and another from Sub-Mariner replying “THAT LEAVES ME FREE– TO TOTAL YOU!”. The story is written by Gerry Conway with art by Gene Colan and Tom Palmer. The CGC label notes the story’s continuation from Sub-Mariner #39 and #40, and the appearances of Spider-Man and Sub-Mariner.
