Description
A Golden Age comic book, ‘More Fun Comics #82’, published by DC Comics in August 1942, originally priced at Ten Cents. This issue features cover art attributed to George Papp, depicting Green Arrow and Speedy in an action scene, confronting a man wielding a Tommy gun. The cover prominently displays the promotional text: “GREEN ARROW AND SPEEDY PLUNGE BACK THROUGH THE MISTS OF TIME TO SHERWOOD FOREST IN “ROBIN HOOD’S REVENGE””. A small advertisement at the bottom right encourages wartime support with “SUPERMAN SAYS! BUY DEFENSE STAMPS! HELP NATIONAL DEFENSE”. The comic is professionally graded and encapsulated by CGC with a Universal Grade of 3.0 and ‘CREAM TO OFF-WHITE Pages’.
Condition report:
The comic is professionally graded by CGC at 3.0 (Universal Grade) with Cream to Off-White pages. It exhibits significant wear consistent with its grade, including creasing, tears, and discoloration along the edges and spine. Despite the wear, the cover colors remain largely vibrant. A handwritten signature or initial, possibly \'Hu\' or \'Ho\', is present on the lower right corner of the cover.
