Description
A group of vintage Marvel Collectors’ Item Classics comic books, predominantly dating to circa 1966. This lot comprises approximately twenty-four staple-bound paperbacks, featuring reprints of classic superhero adventures. The collection includes one ‘King-Size Bullpen Book’ and another ‘Marvel Collectors’ Item Classics’ issue dated April 1966. Prominently showcasing characters such as the Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Sub-Mariner, Doctor Strange, Doctor Doom, and the Mandarin. Original issue numbers and publication months range from approximately #8 through #21, and a consistent 25-cent price point. Many covers bear the ‘Approved by the Comics Code Authority’ stamp. A white tag with the handwritten number ‘347’ is present at the bottom center of the image.
Condition report:
Fair to Good overall condition. Typical age-related wear present throughout the collection, including varying degrees of cover creasing, edge wear, and corner bumps. Some instances of age-toning to pages and covers may be present. Colors remain generally vibrant. Staple binding appears intact on most issues.
