Description
A lot of five vintage American comic books from DC Comics’ "The Forever People" (1971 1st Series), part of "Kirby’s Fourth World" and "The New Gods" line, all featuring the distinctive artwork of Jack Kirby. The collection includes:
– Issue #1 (March, 25¢), notable for the First Full Appearance of Darkseid and the First Appearance of The Forever People.
– Issue #3 (May, 15¢), notable for the First Appearance of Glorious Godfrey.
– Issue #5 (July, 15¢)
– Issue #6 (July, 15¢)
– Issue #8 (September, 15¢)
The reverse sides feature various period advertisements, including Aurora Monster Kits, Aurora race cars, American Seeds, and Hot Birds model planes. A handwritten number "349" is visible at the bottom of the lot.
Condition report:
Generally good to very good condition. Exhibits minor edge and spine wear consistent with age and handling. Pages are intact with typical toning for vintage paper.
