Description
A collection of twelve vintage American Western comic books, primarily from the mid-20th century. This lot includes multiple issues of Roy Rogers (Dell Comics, Nos. 144, 177, 2445, and various undated or month-dated issues such as May, August, September, April, December), Red Ryder Comics (Dell, August issue), Tom Mix Comics (Fawcett Publication, August, No. 8), and Gabby Hayes Western (Fawcett Publication, May, No. 6). The Tom Mix Comics issue features an interior advertisement for “Gallant Guns,” and the Gabby Hayes Western issue advertises “Tough Rough! And Gruff!” Each comic is marked with a 10¢ price. The items are paper-based. Some comics appear to be in protective sleeves.
Condition report:
Displaying visible wear including creasing, edge tears, corner dings, and general discoloration consistent with age and handling. Overall condition is fair to good.
