Description
Action Comics #340, published by DC Comics in February 1966. This issue features the first appearance of the villain The Parasite, depicted on the cover in battle with Superman. The cover also highlights an ‘EXTRA! DOUBLE-PAGE PIN-UP OF SUPERMAN!’ and bears the ‘APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY’ seal. Priced at 12¢, the back cover displays a full-page advertisement for Mattel’s ‘Switch ‘N Go Battle Set,’ copyrighted © 1966 Mattel, Inc. A white sticker with the numbers ‘359’ is affixed to the bottom center of both the front and back covers.
Condition report:
Overall good condition for its age. Colors remain bright and unfaded. Minor creasing is visible along the spine and edges. Light surface wear is present. The white sticker \'359\' is affixed to the bottom center of both covers.
