Description
Five vintage American ‘Amazing Stories’ science fiction pulp magazines, comprising issues from Volume 25, dated March, April, May (two copies), and July 1951. Each magazine features a distinct, vibrantly illustrated cover depicting classic 1950s science fiction themes, often involving space, futuristic characters, or fantastical scenarios. Visible text includes the masthead “Amazing Stories,” specific story titles such as “The Giant of No Return,” “Empire of Evil,” “Devil’s Planet,” “The Glory That Was Rome!”, and “We, The Machine,” along with author credits and advertising slogans like “The Aristocrat of Science Fiction.” The back covers predominantly feature period advertisements, notably for “The Rosicrucians (AMORC)” and various mail-order products.
Condition report:
Fair to Poor condition, consistent with age and material. All five issues exhibit significant wear, including creasing, tears, discoloration, heavy edge wear, and visible spine damage. Covers are present but show substantial handling and deterioration.
