Description
A vintage American comic book titled ‘Brenda Starr’, dated November 1948 and originally priced at 10¢. The front cover features an illustration of Brenda Starr in a swimsuit at a poolside party, with text proclaiming it ‘AMERICA’S FAVORITE NEWSPAPER COMIC STRIP’. It also includes the story ‘AN ACCOUNT OF THE WESTERN JUSTICE! THIS DEAL WAS DEATH!’. A small circular ‘OFFICIAL COMICS PUBLICATION’ seal is present. The reverse side displays an advertisement for a ‘FILMATIC MOVIEVIEWER’ under an ‘AMAZING 3 IN 1 OFFER’ for ‘ONLY $1′, detailing ’10 FILMS 220 Pictures’ and listing various film titles. A separate white tag below the item is marked with the handwritten number ‘365’.
Condition report:
The comic book is in fair to good condition. Visible signs of age and handling include creasing, wear along the edges and spine, slight corner rounding, and surface discoloration. Minor tears are present along the front cover edges.
