Description
A pair of vintage American comic books from the Captain America (1968 1st Series) by Marvel Comics Group. Issue #108, dated December, features Captain America battling “The Trapster.” Issue #107, dated November, depicts Captain America surrounded by combatants, with the prominent text “HERE LIES BUCKY.” Both covers display the original “12¢” price and the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal. The reverse of both comics features identical full-page advertisements for the “Famous Artists School,” headlined “We’re looking for people who like to draw” by Norman Rockwell.
Condition report:
Both comics are in good, age-appropriate condition. They exhibit minor wear to the edges and spines, consistent with their age and handling. Pages are intact, and colors remain generally vibrant. No significant tears, major creases, or restoration are apparent.
