Description
Gasp! #1, published by American Comics Group (ACG) in March 1967. This vintage American comic book, priced at 12¢, features a front cover illustration by Lou Wahl depicting a man and woman embracing near a well, from which two other male figures emerge. Story titles include “THOSE TERRIBLE TEEN-AGERS!”, “BENEATH THE OLD CELLAR!”, and “THE DEVIL’S A BUSINESSMAN!”. The cover also displays an ‘APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY’ seal. The reverse side features a full-page advertisement for ‘Zenith’ stamp collections, complete with text, stamp illustrations, and a mail-in coupon. The item is made of printed paper.
Condition report:
The item exhibits noticeable wear consistent with its age and use. This includes significant creasing to the covers, particularly near the spine and edges. There is visible edge and corner wear, with some blunting and minor tears. The spine shows stress marks and color breaks. General surface discoloration, tanning, and minor soiling are present throughout. The interior pages show age-toning.
