Description
This vintage pulp magazine, “Weird Tales,” is the September 1938 issue, identified as “Vol. 32 No. 3” and marking its “16th Year of Publication,” originally priced at “25c.” The colorful cover, rendered in a classic pulp art style with dominant yellow, red, and blue/green hues, depicts a scene featuring a man in a hat reading, a red-haired woman being restrained by a hooded figure, set against a vibrant background. Visible authors listed on the cover include Seabury Quinn (for “A romantic and intriguing tale of witchcraft”), Algernon Blackwood, and Robert E. Howard.
