Description
Blue Bolt Vol. 4 No. 2 Comic Book, July and August. This digest-sized, paper-bound publication is priced at 10c. The front cover features a vibrant illustration of a gold and orange-toned Liberty Bell, depicted as cracked, against a blue background. Prominent text includes “PROCLAIM LIBERTY THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND UNTO ALL THE INHABITANTS THEREOF LEV. XXV X” and “PASSA PHILAD MDCCLIII” (Pass and Stow, Philadelphia, 1753). Additional visible text reads “FEATURING DICK COLE + EDISON BELL” and “LET FREEDOM RING.” The reverse side presents a full-page advertisement for a “FREE 150 POWER MICROSCOPE WITH THIS OFFER” from “METRO PUBLICATIONS.” A white inventory sticker marked “393” is affixed to the bottom of both the front and back covers.
Condition report:
The publication exhibits condition issues commensurate with age and handling, including noticeable edge wear, spine creasing, minor tears, and general discoloration. The cover colors remain largely vibrant.
