Description
A pair of vintage American comic books from EC Comics’ ‘Crime Suspenstories’ series, comprising Issue #21 and Issue #23. The comic featuring the story ‘THE INFERIORS’ (Issue #23) has ‘SCHOLASTIC MAGAZINES’ printed along its left edge. Its reverse displays an advertisement for ‘150 CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS!’ priced at ‘$1.49’. The comic featuring the story ‘THIS’LL KILL YOU!’ (Issue #21) has an advertisement on its reverse for ‘GET SHOP-METHOD HOME TRAINING’ for ‘RADIO-TELEVISION & ELECTRONICS’ and ‘AUTOMOTIVE-DIESEL & ALLIED MECHANICS.’ Both comics are made of printed paper, consistent with mid-20th century production.
Condition report:
Both comics show considerable wear, including creasing, edge fraying, and general paper discoloration consistent with their age and use.
