Description
A vintage American comic book, *Strange Tales* #90, published by Marvel Comics in November 1961, originally priced at 10¢. The front cover, rendered in a mid-20th century science fiction/horror style, depicts a large, red, multi-limbed creature identified as “Orrgo The Unconquerable” surrounded by smaller human figures. Additional dialogue boxes read “WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE SUDDENLY TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH THE WORST MENACE EARTH HAS EVER KNOWN?” and “WHAT IS IT? WHERE DID IT COME FROM? IT ISN’T PART OF THE SHOW!”. The cover features an “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal and an “M” logo, with a visible artist’s initial signature “S.K.”. The back cover presents a full-page advertisement for the “FAMOUS ARTISTS SCHOOL.” Printed on paper and secured by staples. A handwritten “395” tag is positioned below the item.
