Description
An original copy of More Fun Comics #116, published by DC Comics. The cover, priced at ‘Ten Cents,’ features two human characters, one in yellow and one in a red cape, interacting with a tiger. Speech bubbles read: “HEY, GENIUS JONES, / WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN / YOU’VE GOT A TIGER / BY THE TAIL ?!?!” and “I DON’T KNOW / WHAT **YOU** DO / BUT I KNOW / WHAT **I’M** GOING / TO DO !”. The back cover includes a period advertisement titled “How to Outbluff a VICIOUS DOG at night!” and a promotion for “EVEREADY EXTRA LIFE BATTERY.”
Condition report:
The paper item exhibits considerable wear consistent with its age, including visible creasing, discoloration, significant edge wear with small tears, and a handwritten inscription on the front cover. The spine shows wear and some separation.
