Description
A vintage issue of *Weird Tales* magazine, dated August 1938, featuring a cover illustration by Margaret Brundage. The cover depicts a blonde woman in a ripped garment surrounded by several black wolves against an orange and blue sky. The signature ‘B.’ is visible in the lower right. The magazine is marked “16th Year of Publication” and includes stories such as “THE WOLF-GIRL OF JOSSELIN BY ARLTON EADIE”, with other authors including RUBY QUINN, H. THOMPSON RICH, EDMOND HAMILTON, and GANS T. FIELD. The back cover features an advertisement for “The Rosicrucians [AMORC]” based in San Jose, California, offering “FREE SEALED BookS” via a coupon. Constructed from paper, consistent with early-to-mid 20th century pulp magazines.
