Description
A group of five Silver Age DC Comics World’s Finest Comics (1941-). Each comic features Superman, Batman, and Robin prominently on its cover, rendered in a distinctive Silver Age art style. All covers display a price of ’12c’ and depict dynamic action scenes with various issue-specific titles such as ‘Batman – Son of Superman!’, ‘Superman’s Prison Peril!’, ‘The Super-Gamblers!’, and ‘Superman’s Doomed Heroes!’. The reverse sides of the comics feature diverse period advertisements for products including Aurora model kits (Superman, Movie Monsters, Big Frankie), Aurora Motoring road race sets, and Art Instruction Schools. A small piece of paper with the handwritten number ‘420’ is visible in the frame.
Condition report:
Fair to Good condition. Visible signs of age and wear, including creasing, edge wear, spine stress, and minor tears. Covers may show some discoloration, surface rubbing, and small chips. Pages may be tanned.
