Description
This lot comprises three vintage Marvel Comics Group “The Amazing Spider-Man” comic books, specifically issues #63, #68, and #72. Each comic was originally priced at 12 cents, suggesting a late 1960s Silver/early Bronze Age period. Printed on paper, the covers feature classic superhero art depicting Spider-Man in action against various villains, including Kingpin (issue #68), Shocker (issue #72), and a winged antagonist (issue #63). Each cover clearly displays the title, issue number, price, and publisher, with additional taglines such as “NOW! A GIANT BONUS BOOK!” (issue #68), “ROCKED BY THE SHOCKER!” (issue #72), and “WINGS IN THE NIGHT!” (issue #63). Condition report:
All three comics exhibit visible wear consistent with age and handling, including soft corners, creasing, spine stress, and edge wear. There is also age-related discoloration and staining present across all issues, with the far right comic (issue #63) showing the most significant yellowing.
