Description
A vintage copy of Marvel Comics’ The Amazing Spider-Man #23, published in April 1965. This Silver Age comic book was originally priced at 12¢. The cover features Spider-Man battling the Green Goblin, with the prominent text “DON’T WASTE A MINUTE! YOU’VE GOT TO SEE SPIEDEY IN ACTION AGAINST! “the GOBLIN And The GANGSTERS!””. The issue is marked “IND. APR.” and bears the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal. The rear cover presents a full-page advertisement for “MY SECRET NEW DYNAFLEX METHOD” promoting physical strength.
Condition report:
Significant circulation and age-related wear throughout. Extensive creasing to both front and back covers. Notable spine stress with several color breaks. Corners are worn. General surface discoloration is present.
