Description
A vintage American comic book, DC Comics, ‘Beware The Creeper,’ Issue No. 1, published June 1968. The vibrant color cover, featuring art signed “DITKO,” depicts two costumed figures—one predominantly green and yellow with flowing red elements (The Creeper), and another in black and red—against a stylized dark cityscape. Text bubbles read “HA HA HA” and “WHERE LURKS THE MENACE?”. The cover also displays the original price of “12¢” and the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” seal. The reverse features a full-color advertisement for an “UFO from THE INVADERS” hobby kit by Aurora Plastics Corp., copyrighted 1968.
Condition report:
Good, used condition, exhibiting minor corner and edge wear consistent with its age. Retains strong color saturation.
