Description
A pair of DC Comics ‘Tomahawk’ issues, from the 1950 series, numbered 106 and 107. These mid-20th century American comic books are 52-page issues featuring “America’s Favorite Frontier Hero” and “BRAND-NEW ADVENTURES.” Issue #1 additionally mentions “THRILLING INDIAN STORIES” on its cover. The cover of issue #2 includes the blurb: “Can TOMAHAWK AND HIS YOUNG FRIEND DAN HUNTER ESCAPE ALMOST CERTAIN DEATH AT THE HANDS OF SAVAGE ENEMIES?” The reverse side of issue #1 features a period advertisement for “New silk-finish enlargement, ivory gold-toned frame” from “Hollywood Studios,” while issue #2reverse side advertises “DAISY B-B GUNS” and related accessories. The comics are paper-covered.
Condition report:
Good to Very Good condition, consistent with age and handling. Both issues exhibit visible wear including creasing, minor edge tears, and surface abrasions. The cover art and text remain generally discernible.
