Description
A collection of six Golden Age comic books from the 1940s, printed on paper. The lot includes “Spirit” (Vol. 1 No. 3, January 1944), “Comedy Comics” (No. 11), “Air Ace” (Vol. 1 No. 3), “Popular Comics” (No. 92, October), “Blue Bolt” (Vol. 4 No. 8, April), and “True Comics” (No. 59). Visible text on the covers indicates a price of 10 cents for each issue. The comics feature characters and themes typical of the era, such as superheroes, adventure, and true stories.
