Description
A group of nine American comic books and youth magazines from the Golden Age era, primarily from the mid-20th century, encompassing diverse genres such as detective, science fiction, romance, adventure, cartoon, espionage, and general youth interest. Titles include “SUPER COMICS featuring DICK TRACY” (Dell, 10¢, October), “CAPTAIN COMET”, “World of DOOMED SPACEMEN” (No. 17251), “Calling All BOYS” (No. 2, 10¢, February-March 1946), “DELL THIRTEEN” (12¢, December), “first KISS” (No. 21, April, Approved by Comics Code Authority), “TERRY AND THE PIRATES” (10¢), “CBS Television Presents NEW MIGHTY MOUSE” (12¢), and “MAGIL AGENT” (No. 92, March-April, 12¢, “AMERICA’S AMAZING ESPIONAGE ACE!”). Constructed from printed paper and ink, several items are housed within protective plastic sleeves. A white paper slip with “455” is visible at the bottom center of the arrangement.
Condition report:
The apparent condition ranges from fair to good, exhibiting typical age-related wear such as corner rounding, edge fraying, and some discoloration consistent with their age. No significant structural damage or major tears are immediately visible.
