Description
A group of four vintage American comic books, all titled “AIRBOY” or “AIRBOY COMICS,” featuring colorful adventure-themed illustrations characteristic of the Golden Age of comics. Two issues are explicitly identified as “A HILLMAN PUBLICATION.” Specific details include a “FEB. 10¢” issue noting “Formerly AIR FIGHTERS COMICS,” and an “APRIL 10¢” issue. Another cover advertises “AIRBOY MEETS THE CRABMEN OF PARIS!!” and is a “52 Page magazine.” The fourth visible item displays multi-panel internal artwork and bears a “GRAHAM BOOK SHOP 187 Graham Ave. Brooklyn 6, N. Y.” stamp. All four comics are individually protected within clear plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
The comics exhibit wear, creasing, and minor tears consistent with vintage paper items. Covers show surface rubbing, edge wear, and some discoloration. Pages appear toned. Overall condition is fair to good for their age.
