Description
A pair of Golden Age comic books, published by CRACK COMICS, featuring the character Captain Triumph. The lot comprises *Crack Comics #52*, published January 1948, depicting Captain Triumph running ashore from a body of water with a tugboat labeled “PULSIFER” in the background, featuring the tagline “A CARGO OF MYSTERY!”. The second comic is *Crack Comics #61*, published August 1949, illustrating Captain Triumph punching a man armed with a machine gun, accompanied by the text “TRIUMPH OVER EVIL!” and “Captain TRIUMPH scores a bull’s-eye over TARGETS!”, also noting “STILL 52 PAGES”. Both comics are printed on paper consistent with the pulp era and are individually encased in clear plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
Both comics exhibit typical age-related toning and minor surface wear commensurate with their vintage, yet appear generally well-preserved within their protective covers.
