Description
A collection of vintage paper advertisements, primarily sourced from 1970s comic books and magazines. The group comprises ten individual advertisements, predominantly dating from the late 1960s as indicated by visible copyright dates of 1969. Featured brands include Aurora, with ads for ‘Ghostly Glow-Power’ monster model kits, ‘Boaterific Outboards,’ and ‘The Movie Monster kits.’ Also present are various Hot Wheels advertisements, such as the ‘Super-Charger Race Set,’ ‘Flashback’ racing sets, the ‘Tune-Up Tower,’ and ‘Sizzlers’ cars. An advertisement for ‘American Seeds’ offering prizes is also included. All items are made of paper.
Condition report:
Age-related yellowing, creasing, and uneven edges are present across all advertisements, consistent with items cut from period publications. Some minor tears or small losses may be present along edges due to the cutting process and age.
