A vintage issue of “Weird Tales” pulp magazine, dated April 1939, featuring a dramatic front cover illustration signed by Virgil Finlay. Originally priced at 25¢, this issue contains 160 pages of strange fiction. Notable contents include stories by Seabury Quinn, Edmond Hamilton, Robert Bloch, Henry Kuttner, and C.L. Moore. The cover depicts a man in period dress leaning over a distressed woman. The reverse side features a vintage advertisement for “Accident or Sickness” insurance from “The Security Policy.” Constructed of paper.
