Description
A group of four Marvel Comics Group ‘Strange Tales’ comic books, published in 1968. The lot includes sequential issues Vol. 1 No. 164 (January), No. 165 (February), No. 166 (March), and No. 167 (April), each originally priced at 12¢. The covers prominently feature “Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Doctor Strange,” alongside visible story titles such as “BEHOLD THE SAVAGE SKY!,” “EXILE!,” and “NOTHING CAN HALT VOLIORG!” Constructed from paper with color ink and staple-bound, the reverse sides of the comics display period advertisements, including a “Famous Artists School” ad featuring Norman Rockwell and another for “American Seeds.”
Condition report:
Good, handled condition. Each comic exhibits typical wear, minor creasing, and paper tanning consistent with age. Staples appear intact.
