Description
A group of four vintage Marvel Comics Group ‘Captain America’ comic books from the 1968 1st Series. This lot comprises issues 106, 107, 108, and 109. Each issue is priced at 12 cents and features classic mid-20th century superhero artwork. The specific issues, their cover titles, and publication dates are as follows:
* Issue #106: "CAP GOES WILD!", published October 1968.
* Issue #107: "IN THE GRIP OF… NITRO!", published November 1968.
* Issue #108: "WEAKEST OF LIES!", published December 1968.
* Issue #109: "SLAVE OF… THE SKULL!", published January 1969.
The reverse sides display era-appropriate advertisements, including one for "132 Roman Soldiers Only $1!!!" and another for earning money selling Christmas cards from "Wallace Brown, Inc." Constructed from paper. A small white slip of paper with the handwritten number "508" is present with the lot.
Condition report:
Fair to Good condition, consistent with age and handling. Visible signs of age and wear, including creasing, blunted corners, spine stress, and general yellowing and discoloration.
