Description
The Arizona Kid (1951) No. 6 comic book, published by Atlas Comics (Marvel). This issue features a 10-cent price. The front cover showcases a Western adventure-style illustration depicting three cowboys engaged in a brawl within a saloon. Speech bubbles contain the dialogue: “HEY, MALONE, THE SAR COTTA GET ROUGH!” and “WON’T DO HIM ANY GOOD! WE’LL SLUG IT OUT ANYWAY WHEN HE’S FINISHED!”. The artist’s signature, “J.K. Masters,” is visible at the bottom right of the artwork. The back cover displays a full-page, multi-panel advertisement for “GIVEN PREMIUMS or CASH,” illustrating various prizes such as a football, bicycle, doll, and watch, with a “MAIL COUPON TODAY” section at the bottom.
