Description
A vintage American comic book, ‘Wings Comics’ issue No. 95, published by Fiction House in May 1948. This Golden Age comic features a dynamic cover, characteristic of Good Girl Art (GGA), depicting a woman in a blue dress holding a submachine gun, an airplane, and various figures in combat or exotic attire, set against a backdrop including onion-domed buildings. Prominent cover text includes “KIDNAP CARGO” featuring “Captain WINGS” and “The GHOST SQUADRON.” The back cover is entirely covered with period advertisements for various mail-order products, such as “HOME RADIO MIKE,” “MAKE YOUR OWN RECORDS,” and a “16MM Movie Projector.” The comic is printed on paper stock.
