Description
A vintage American comic book, Dead-Eye Western Comics #8, published by Magazine Enterprises in February-March 1950. This series is often attributed to Hillman Periodicals. The front cover features a dynamic Western scene depicting cowboys amidst a stampede, with dialogue bubbles indicating a conflict over “bank loot.” Visible text includes “REAL STORIES FROM THE PLAINS,” “A MAGAZINE ENTERPRISES PUBLICATION,” a small star graphic with “COMICS MAGAZINE” around it, and “52 Page Magazine.” The original price of 10¢ is prominently displayed. The back cover presents an advertisement for “MOTOR’S AUTO REPAIR MANUAL,” offering a “FREE 7-DAY TRIAL” and explicitly mentioning “1949 Models.” Constructed from paper and staple-bound. A handwritten “524” is present on a white sticker at the bottom edge of the back cover.
Condition report:
Visible wear consistent with age, including significant creasing and edge wear to covers, minor tears along edges, and general discoloration and tanning to paper. Staples appear intact.
