Description
A collection of 5 vintage ‘Amazing Stories’ pulp magazines, published in English, dating to the mid-20th century. These paper-bound issues feature vibrant, dramatic illustrated covers typical of the science fiction and fantasy genres. Prominent cover titles include “WE DANCE FOR THE DOM, ” “COFFIN OF HOPE, ” “YOU CAN’T ESCAPE FROM MARS!, ” “WHEN TWO WORLDS MEET, ” and “GODDESS OF THE VOLCANO.” One visible issue identifier is “JUNE 1947.” The reverse sides feature various period advertisements, subscription offers, and excerpts, including “ALL THE SECRETS OF A CON MAN…, ” “EIGHT FREE!” (magazines), and ads for science kits and books.
