Description
Wanted Comics #13, May 1948, featuring art by Mort Leav. The front cover depicts a “Wanted” poster for “JAMES SPENCER” alongside Golden Age comic illustrations of a chef, a waiter, and crime scenes involving a gun. Text highlights “Expose of New York Racket” and “52 PAGES OF TRUE CASES FROM POLICE FILES.” The back cover features a full-page advertisement for an “AMAZING NEW Mickey Mouse-Donald Duck WEATHER FORECASTER,” complete with an illustration of the weather house and a “SEND NO MONEY” coupon.
Condition report:
Good/Very Good condition, consistent with age. Exhibits creasing, minor tears, edge wear, and discoloration. The comic appears largely intact.
