Description
A Marvel Comics Group, Thor (1962 Marvel 1st Series Journey Into Mystery) Annual #1, copyrighted 1965 and originally priced at 25¢. This vintage American comic book features a battle between Thor and Hercules on the front cover, with additional visible text highlighting “ALL-NEW THOR VS HERCULES,” “72 BIG PAGES,” and story titles for Loki, Radio-Active Man, the Demon Duplicators, and the Lava-Man. The back cover features period advertisements for “AMAZING X-RAY VISION” and a “REWARD $11,750.00” for old coins from “TREASURELAND, Dept. 385, Box 528, Newark, N. J.” The comic is stapled paper.
Condition report:
The stapled paper comic exhibits considerable wear consistent with its age, including creasing, spine roll, edge tears, and general discoloration. Overall fair to good condition for its period.
