Description
A group of five Silver Age DC Comics ‘The Flash’ comic books, from the 1959-1985 series. The lot includes issues #143, #145, #147, #149, and one 80c GIANT COLLECTOR’S SPECIAL prominently featuring the ‘Flash of Two Worlds!’ storyline. Each comic features classic superhero art style and is identifiable by its 12c or 80c cover price. They are made of printed paper and are housed within clear protective plastic bags. The back covers display typical period advertisements for items such as ‘204 REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIERS,’ a mail-order ‘FRONTIER CABIN,’ opportunities to ‘MAKE MONEY GET PRIZES with Selling American Seeds,’ and ‘DAISY B.B GUN IDEAS!’. A white sticker marked ‘566’ is also present, likely an inventory or lot number.
Condition report:
Good to very good for their age, showing some expected minor wear, creasing, and corner blunting, but with generally bright and vibrant colors.
