Description
A group of four vintage American comic books, all published by Dell, characteristic of mid-20th century comic illustration. Each comic is housed in a clear plastic protective sleeve. The lot includes “Roy Rogers Comics” No. 137 (10c), “Raggedy Ann and Andy” No. 1 (Giant Comic, 25c), “Bugs Bunny’s Christmas Funnies” No. 5 (Giant Dell Comic, 25c), and “The Littlest Snowman” No. 735 (10c). The “Littlest Snowman” comic notes “FROM A STORY BY CHARLES TAZEWELL” and features the phrase “I LOVE YOU TRULY” on the snowman character. A separate white paper slip marked with the handwritten number “567” is also present.
Condition report:
Apparent condition ranges from fair to good vintage. All comics show expected signs of age and handling, including creasing, corner wear, and some discoloration to the paper, despite being housed in protective sleeves.
