Description
A group of 2 vintage paper items, comprising two DC Comics Batman comic books and two Aurora toy advertisements. The comic books include *Batman #219* (May 1970), priced at 15c and featuring an ‘Extra! A Robin Solo Story!’, and *Batman #228* (July 1970), an ’84 PAGES’ annual priced at 25c, depicting scenes such as ‘Netted in a Jungle!’ and ‘Caught in a Giant Bowling Alley!’. The accompanying Aurora toy advertisements promote ‘Aurora Powerslicks’ with a blue toy car and ‘Aurora Model Motoring Invitational’ with illustrations of various race cars including ‘Dino Ferrari’ and ‘Ford GT’. Both advertisements identify ‘Aurora Products Corp., West Hempstead, N.Y. 11552’. All items display a mid-to-late 20th-century aesthetic, consistent with their vintage nature. A small handwritten note with “5 70” is visible in the lot.
