Description
A lot comprising two mid-to-late 20th-century American superhero comic books, both published by DC and printed on paper. The first is “Batman’s 30th Anniversary Issue Detective Comics” No. 386, priced at 12¢, featuring Batman, Robin, and various villains on its front cover. Its reverse displays an advertisement for Aurora glow-in-the-dark monster model kits. The second item is a “Giant Batman Annual,” priced at 25¢ with “80 Pages” indicated on its front cover, which showcases multiple Batman characters and references “4 Origin Stories.” The back cover of this annual features an illustration titled “Greetings from the Batman Family!” with a visible signature of “BOB KANE.” A yellow sticky note marked “576” is also present beneath the items.
Condition report:
Both comic books exhibit considerable wear consistent with their age, including creasing, frayed edges, spine stress, and corner damage.
