Description

A group of three vintage American comic books from the ‘DETECTIVE COMICS’ series, published by DC Comics, featuring Batman and Robin. The lot includes:

1. Detective Comics #363 (May 1967), with a cover featuring Batman battling a giant Robin, accompanied by the speech bubble ‘ROBIN! HE’S ALONE!’.

2. Detective Comics #380 (October 1968), with a cover depicting Batman and Robin in a cave, featuring the speech bubble ‘SAY BATMAN! SOMETHING IS WRONG! DON’T TOUCH ME!!’.

3. Detective Comics #386 (April 1969), with a cover illustrating Batman and Robin in an argument, featuring speech bubbles including ‘NO, BATMAN! IT’S NOT TRUE!’, ‘YOU’D BETTER BELIEVE IT, ROBIN!’, and ‘NO STARTLING SHOCK AWAITS THE DYNAMIC DUO…AND YOU!!’.

Each comic is priced at 12 cents. The reverse sides of two visible comics display full-page advertisements for Aurora Hobby Kits, including ‘Out of this World’ and ‘Land of the Giants’ kits, as well as a ‘Super Looper Stunt Set / Stunt & Drag Race Set, ‘ with one ad showing a 1968 copyright date for Aurora Plastics Corp.
