Description
A group of three vintage advertisements for Aurora plastic model hobby kits, dating from the late 1960s. Each is composed of printed paper/newsprint. Two advertisements bear a visible copyright of “© 1968,” while the third is dated “© 1967.” One advertisement promotes “Motorific” racing cars, featuring models such as “CHAPARRAL II,” “MAKO SHARK,” “FARRARI 250 GTO,” and “FORD MARK II.” Another advertises a “UFO from THE INVADERS” kit, explicitly stating its origin “FROM THE THRILLING TV SERIES ON ABC!” The third highlights “AURORA’S ‘AMERICAN ASTRONAUT'” kit. All advertised kits are priced at “$1.00.” The text “PRINTED MATTER” is partially visible on one of the ads, indicating its original format. Included with the advertisements is a small, plain white paper slip with “580” handwritten in black ink.
Condition report:
Overall good vintage condition consistent with age and material. Each advertisement exhibits typical signs of wear for newsprint from the late 1960s, including minor edge wear, creasing, and age-toning or discoloration to the paper. All three appear largely intact without significant tears or losses.
