Description
A collection of four vintage DC Comics “Giant Batman Annual” comic books, comprising issues No. 7, No. 8, No. 9, and No. 10. These large-format annuals, characteristic of the Silver Age of comics, feature colorful classic comic art depicting Batman, Robin, and other associated characters. Each issue was originally priced at 25 cents. Visible text on the covers highlights various features such as “80 PAGES,” “Including Your Favorite Cover Stories!,” “Thrilling Adventures of The Batman Family!,” and “8 Baffling Adventures.” The reverse sides display additional comic panels, internal advertisements for other DC publications like “WORLD’S FINEST” and “DETECTIVE COMICS,” and promotional slogans including “A Collector’s Item!” and “Greetings from the Batman Family!”. Constructed from stapled paper.
Condition report:
The comics exhibit apparent condition consistent with age and prior circulation, showing general wear, minor creasing, and paper tanning. Covers remain largely intact. A small yellow paper tag with the handwritten number \"536\" is present with the lot.
