Description
Four vintage American newspaper comic strip proofs or tearsheets, each featuring “AMERICA’S GREATEST MING FOO” by Brandon Walsh. These color comic sections are dated SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 1935, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1936, and SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, 1936, placing them firmly in the mid-1930s. Printed on aged, off-white paper, each strip comprises multiple panels with hand-drawn illustrations and English dialogue. Each bears copyright notices for King Features Syndicate and the phrase “CONTINUED NEXT WEEK.” A small yellow sticky note with the marking “L04” is affixed to one sheet.
Condition report:
Overall good condition for their age. Items exhibit typical signs of wear including minor creasing, edge discoloration, and slightly faded colors. No apparent major damage or repairs.
