This lot comprises three original full-color newspaper comic strip proofs. Each page is printed on thin fax-like paper Each page features the comic strips ‘AMERICA’S GREATEST MING FOO’ and ‘Little Annie Rooney,’ both created by Brandon Walsh. Visible publication dates include ‘SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 1937’ and ‘SUNDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1937,’ confirming their origin in the late 1930s. Copyright information for ‘1937, King Features Syndicate, Inc.’ is clearly legible on each page. The material is newsprint.
Condition report:
The newsprint material exhibits characteristic age-related wear, including creasing, edge fraying, yellowing, and minor tears. Despite these signs of age, the comic art and text remain largely legible across all pages.
