A National Bellas Hess Co. Inc. Fall and Winter 1930-1931 mail-order fashion catalog, printed on paper. The catalog was issued from locations in New York and Kansas City. The cover features Art Deco period illustrations of two women modeling fashionable attire, with visible text including “ORK’S LATEST FASHIONS”, “WE PAY ALL POSTAGE”, and prices such as “$23.75” and “$11.98”. Internal pages showcase various clothing and footwear, including “MEN’S HI-CUT BOOTS,” “WOMEN’S SMARTLY STYLED OXFORDS,” and “NEW STYLES in Women’s Sweaters and Sport Coats.” A section titled “TESTED GOODS ARE RIGHT GOODS!” is also present, with price points ranging from $1.98 to $7.49. Similar catalogs from this period are commonly referred to as ‘Style Books’ in the market.
Condition report:
Fair condition. The paper is aged and shows significant wear consistent with its age and use. Features creasing throughout, dog-eared corners, and minor tearing along the edges and spine. The binding remains intact but shows signs of stress.
