Description
This group comprises eight vintage American comic books from the Silver Age era, predominantly published by DC (National Comics). It includes three issues of “Our Army at War” (Nos. 140, 154, 159), one issue of “G.I. Combat” (No. 95), and four issues of “Blackhawk” (Nos. 239, 242, 243, and one issue without a clearly visible number). Dating from the Silver Age, as indicated by 10¢ and 12¢ cover prices and the visible Comics Code Authority (CCA) stamp. Notable visual elements include various war-themed cover art and the recurring character “Sgt. Rock” in “Our Army at War,” with a visible Joe Kubert signature on one issue. Most comics are protected within plastic sleeves.
Condition report:
Generally good to very good condition for their age, exhibiting typical wear such as minor creasing, corner dings, and slight page yellowing. The \"G.I. Combat\" issue shows more pronounced edge wear and creasing.
